But of course, they were christened again by the Lord Jesus Christ 'The Sons of Thunder', because of their vehement personalities. WebJohn’s Gospel is richly doctrinal, with some of its major themes being the divinity of Jesus as the Son of God, the Atonement of Christ, eternal life, the Holy Ghost, the need to be born again, the importance of loving others, and the importance of believing in the Savior. John emphasized Jesus’s divinity as the Son of God.
